It is the only thing that really matters here, and it is what no platform can do: you are not booking an anonymous home in the middle of a catalogue, you are writing to the person it belongs to. They know the street, the building, the morning noise and the café across the road. They are the one who replies to you, and the one who welcomes you.
The website doesn't book, it screens
Nothing is paid or signed online. You describe what you are looking for, we check whether it is possible, and we reply. There are two paths, depending on the length of stay: a stay request for a holiday or a winter, an application for a room or a mid-term rental. They are not two versions of the same form — the questions are different, because the stays are.
What you see is what exists
The rates, capacities and stay conditions shown on a listing are those of the home, not a teaser price range. The total shown before you send your request is an estimate, and it carries a note saying so: it is the owner's reply that confirms it.
